Welcome to Women & Wishes
Women & Wishes supports middle-income women who work hard to support themselves and their children but face unexpected life disruptions such as death, divorce, job loss, or medical hardship.
Many of these women fall outside traditional assistance programs, yet a single unexpected expense can quickly destabilize the lives they have worked hard to build.
Women & Wishes steps in during these critical moments by granting one-time wishes that provide practical support and restore stability.
Wishes may include essential needs such as auto repairs, housing assistance, utility payments, legal support, or critical home repairs. Payments are made directly to vendors to ensure immediate and meaningful impact.
Through these timely acts of support, Women & Wishes helps women regain their footing and continue building stable lives for themselves and their families.
Women & Wishes proudly serves women in Broward and Palm Beach counties through the support of community donors, corporate partners, and philanthropic foundations.

I was at my wits ends. After having a surgery and unable to perform my functions at work I saw myself out of luck. Raising three kids on my own with little to no help from the father, having no friends or family for help, I became desperate. Willing to do whatever to keep a roof over my kids’ head. Then I found Women & Wishes. Just submitted my request and hoped and prayed that it would be granted. The day I received the phone call to say that they would help me, I cried. There was help for me and for this help, I will be forever grateful.
