LADIES & GENTS…We are happy to announce that the 1000+ Club of the American Cancer Society has selected Women & Wishes for the 2010 most outstanding organization in our community. Receiving recognition of this magnitude is such an honor. We are very pleased to have Marion Applegate, Vice president of Women & Wishes as women of the year and will represent our organization at the April 7th 2010 luncheon. Those who attended last year’s event, you can be certain that we were represented very well! Approximately 650 guests were in attendance, of which Women and Wishes had the largest number present. This year our founder, Kelly Cappola, accepted the award on behalf of Women and Wishes. The dedication and hard work by our members is what has made this all possible, and our board of directors thanks each and every one of you. Congratulations to Marion Applegate!
